What is the difference between certificate with CNAS logo and without CNAS logo?

CNAS certification is the abbreviation of China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). It is based on the original Chinese certification body National Accreditation Board (CNAB) and China National Laboratory Accreditation Board (CNAL). Reorganized.

The national accreditation bodies established and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Commission are in charge of accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories and inspection bodies. According to the relevant agreements on China's accession to the WTO, the "CNAS" mark can be mutually recognized in the field of international certification, for example, it can be recognized by relevant certification bodies in the United States, Japan, France, Germany, the United Kingdom and other countries.

The certificate bears the CNAS logo:

1. It shows that it has the technical ability to carry out certification, testing or calibration services according to the corresponding accreditation standards;  

2. Obtain recognition from the national and regional accreditation bodies that signed the mutual recognition agreement;

3. Have the opportunity to participate in bilateral and multilateral cooperation and exchanges recognized by international conformity assessment bodies;
4. The CNAS accreditation mark can be used within the scope of accreditation;
5. To be included in the list of approved institutions.

The certificate does not carry the CNAS logo:
1. Institutional certification projects that have not been approved by CNAS, or if the certified industry sub-category has not been approved by CNAS, the issued certificate cannot carry the CNAS mark;
2. CNAS cannot issue a certificate with the CNAS logo before the project has been approved. For example, common product after-sales service certification, intellectual property management system certification (through standard), etc., CNAS has not yet recognized standards, certification bodies that have been approved for certification can normally issue certificates, and the certificates are also valid, but they cannot carry the CNAS logo.

Several common labeling situations:

1. Certificate with CNAS logo and IAF logo. Explain that the subclasses certified in this certificate are mutually recognized by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and have been recognized by CNAS.

2. Certificate with CNAS logo and without IAF logo. It means that the subcategories certified in this certificate and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) are not mutually recognized, but have been recognized by CNAS.
3. A certificate with only the certification body logo or no logo indicates that the certification sub-category issued by this certificate is recognized in the domestic certification field and cannot be mutually recognized in the international certification field.
