UL certification is a recognized safety certification mark in the United States and North America. A product affixed with the UL mark is equivalent to obtaining a safety and quality credit card, and its credibility has been accepted by consumers. Therefore, the UL mark has become a passport for electronic and electrical products to enter the US and North American markets. UL has five laboratories in the United States, headquartered in Northbrook, north of Chicago.
