Enterprises are certified to ISO standards or national standards at a third-party certification body. After receiving the certificate, they will find that there is no accreditation mark on some certificates. What is the difference between a certificate with an accreditation mark and a certificate without an accreditation mark?

Let me explain it to everyone today~

What is recognition?
The purpose of accreditation is to convince the market and the government that the operation of the certification body (CAB) conforms to recognized standards, which is of vital importance to the market. The accreditation process is based on the public interest to verify the technical capabilities of certification bodies and laboratories. Every major country and major economic body in the world appoints a national accreditation body (national accreditation body), which is responsible for the accreditation of certification bodies, laboratories, inspection agencies and other related institutions.

In China, it is the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS), which is the only national accreditation body approved and authorized by the National Certification and Accreditation Administration.

There are also corresponding national accreditation agencies in other countries. Among them, the more influential internationally include ANAB in the United States, UKAS in the United Kingdom, DAkkS in Germany, JAB in Japan, NABCB in India, COFRAC in France, and JAZ- in Australia and New Zealand. ANZ, SAC in Singapore, etc., as well as HKAS in Hong Kong, China and TAF in Taiwan, China.

National accreditation is a certification that officially shows that the certification body or laboratory has the ability to perform specific conformity assessment work on behalf of the country. In layman's terms, national accreditation means that the country confirms that the certification body has the technical and management capabilities to engage in certification, testing and inspection activities. If the certification body is likened to referees on the sports field, then the national recognition is the games organizer who confirms the qualifications of referees. The good results achieved by athletes under the witness of qualified referees will be recognized by everyone. In this sense, it makes sense to choose a nationally recognized certification body to provide ISO certification.

According to the relevant agreements of the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), various national accreditation agencies have signed a multilateral mutual recognition agreement to mutually recognize the validity of certificates with their accreditation marks, and accept between accredited certification agencies Conversion. In this sense, the recognized certification certificate plays the role of a passport for international trade.

The difference between "with label" and "without label"
The accreditation mark on the ISO certificate:
1. The certificate is issued by a qualified organization that has the technical ability to carry out certification, testing or calibration services in accordance with the corresponding accreditation criteria;
2. 3. Promote international mutual recognition of certification results and foreign trade by signing multilateral or bilateral mutual recognition agreements with international organizations, regional organizations or foreign accreditation agencies. Have the opportunity to participate in bilateral and multilateral cooperation and exchanges recognized by international conformity assessment bodies;
4. The national accreditation mark can be used within the scope of accreditation to help certified organizations enhance their social reputation and market competitiveness;
5. Be included in the list of approved institutions.

There is no accreditation mark on the ISO certificate:
1. Explain that the ISO certification project of the issuing body has not been recognized by the country, or the specific industry capability of the certification has not been recognized; the certification result has not been recognized by the national accreditation body;
2. ISO certificates without accreditation marks cannot be transferred to other certification bodies after they expire;
3. ISO certificates without accreditation marks are not recognized by other countries or economies.
