[Standard Version] Announcement on the implementation of the new version of the standard requirements of the safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification rules for hand-held electric tools

Replace GB/T 3883.2-2012, GB/T 3883.4-2012, GB/T 3883.5-2007, GB/T 3883.10-2007 (hereinafter referred to as the "old standard"). To this end, our center revised CQC12- 442322-2018 "Handheld Power Tools Safety and Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Rules", and now the requirements for the implementation of the new version of the standard for the safety and electromagnetic compatibility certification of handheld power tools are notified as follows:
1. Main revisions of the implementation rules
1. The safety standards for electric screwdrivers and impact wrenches GB 3883.1-2008 and GB/T 3883.2-2012 are changed to GB/T 3883.1-2014 and GB/T 3883.202-2019;
2. Safety standards for non-disc sanders and polishing machines GB 3883.1-2008, GB/T 3883.4-2012 are changed to GB/T 3883.1-2014, GB/T 3883.204-2019;
3. The safety standards for circular saws GB 3883.1-2005 and GB/T 3883.5-2007 were changed to GB/T 3883.1-2014 and GB/T 3883.205-2019;
4. Electric planer safety standards GB 3883.1-2005, GB/T 3883.10-2007 are changed to GB/T 3883.1-2014, GB/T 3883.210-2019;
5. Delete the electromagnetic compatibility standard GB 4343.1-2009;
6. The certification mark is revised to "CQC basic certification mark";
7. Modify the list of important safety materials.
2. Requirements for implementing the new version of the standard
1. From April 1, 2021, applicants need to apply for certification in accordance with the new version of the standard. Our center will adopt the new version of the standard to implement the certification and issue a new version of the standard certification certificate.
2. Holders of the old version of the standard certification certificate can submit an application for the conversion of the new version of the standard certification to our center from April 1, 2021, and accept the test items for the difference between the new and the old version of the standard (see attachments 1, 2, 3, 4) The implementation of the test, after passing the test, a new version of the standard certification certificate will be reissued.
3. The conversion of the old version of the standard certification certificate should be completed before December 31, 2021. The center will suspend the certification certificate that has not completed the conversion after the expiry date; the center will suspend the conversion of the old version of the standard certification certificate after March 1, 2022. Will be revoked.
