On May 29, CNCA's official website issued the implementation rules for compulsory product certification of automobile brake linings and the designation decision of the implementation agency for compulsory product certification of automobile brake lining products. Details are as follows:

According to the "Administrative Measures for Compulsory Product Certification Bodies, Inspection Bodies and Laboratories" (AQSIQ Order No. 65), "Announcement by the CNCA on Carrying Out the Designation of Implementing Bodies for Compulsory Product Certification of Automotive Brake Liner Products" CNCA Announcement No. 7 of 2020) Relevant requirements, the decision on the designation of the implementing agency for compulsory product certification of brake lining products for automobiles is now announced. If you have any objection to this designation decision, you should file an appeal or complaint with our committee within 15 working days from the date of announcement (specify the contact person and contact information).

CNCA Announcement on Issuing the Implementation Rules for Compulsory Product Certification of Automotive Brake Liners
Announcement [2020] No. 12
According to the “Decision of the State Council on Adjusting the Catalogue of Industrial Product Production License Management and Strengthening Post-event Supervision” (Guo Fa [2019] No. 19), the brake lining products for automobiles are converted from production licenses to mandatory product certification (CCC certification) management. The "Compulsory Product Certification Implementation Rules for Automobile Brake Liners" (CNCA-C11-20:2020) is now released and will be implemented from June 1, 2020. The designated certification body shall, in accordance with the general rules for mandatory product certification and the requirements of this implementation rule, formulate certification implementation rules and file with the CNCA.
