"June 1" Children's Day is coming, all kinds of children's products have become a recent consumer explosion, and imported goods are much sought after by parents. However, the quality of some children's toys is difficult to distinguish, and many parents are worried about this. On May 29, Dalian Customs specially summarized several intimate reminders.

First of all, when choosing children's toys, the "CCC" logo should be recognized. At present, my country has implemented "CCC" compulsory product certification for six types of toy products, such as baby carriages, electric toys, plastic toys, metal toys, ejection toys, and doll toys. When buying toys, in addition to paying attention to check whether the main materials, ingredients, certifications, and the manufacturer's name, address, telephone and after-sales service content are complete, you should also see whether the product has "CCC" ("China compulsory "Certification" is the abbreviation of "China Compulsory Certification". Remember not to buy toys with "three noes" and "CCC" certification marks. Be cautious about buying toys that may have small parts that may come off easily. Avoid buying products where parts are easily scattered, there are small magnetic parts, sharp metal edges, rough burrs, etc. Buy scented toys carefully. Most toys with strong odors contain benzene, which is not good for your health. Secondly, children should be instructed to pay attention to the identification of labels, pay attention to product name, model, country of origin (region), applicable age, safety warnings and other information, and avoid purchasing products used by over-ages. It should be used in accordance with the warning signs or instructions on the package to avoid misuse and unnecessary injury. At the same time, parents should also pay attention to whether toxic and harmful chemicals exceed the standard. Especially children's stationery such as schoolbags, gel pens, watercolor pens, solid glue, erasers, correction tapes, etc. are prone to toxic and harmful chemical substances such as phthalate content or migration exceeding the standard, which will cause children's health hurt. Parents are advised to choose products with simple colors, simple appearance, no fragrance or less fragrance, and no pungent smell when buying children's stationery. Try to choose regular channels such as regular malls, supermarkets, official websites, online flagship stores, etc. It is recommended to buy branded products. Although the prices of goods sold by street vendors are relatively low, their quality is relatively difficult to guarantee, and some may also have hidden safety risks. Dalian Customs reminds consumers that when purchasing children ’s goods or receiving services during the holiday season, they should request and keep invoices and related shopping vouchers in order to legally protect their rights when their rights and interests are violated.
