CCC certification for toys

This article applies to children's products, including children's bicycles, children's tricycles, children's carts, baby strollers.


CHINA-MANDATORY SECURITY CERTIFICATION-CCC 

1. Certification based on Standard

Children's bicycles: GB14746"children's Bicycle Safety Requirements" ; 

Children's tricycles: GB14747"children's tricycles safety requirements" ; 

Children's trolleys: GB14748"children's Trolleys Safety Requirements" ; 

Baby Walker: GB14749 safety requirements for Baby Walker. 


2. Certification mode 

The basic certification mode for mandatory product certification of child buggy products is: type test enterprise quality assurance ability and product consistency inspection (initial factory inspection) supervision after obtaining the certificate


of applying CCC certification for Children's bicycles and other products after certification: 

1. Type test can be completed in about two weeks;

2. After the type test, make the first on-site inspection. After factory inspection, obtain certificate. For the production enterprises of baby carriage products, the first follow-up inspection is usually carried out within 12 months after certification; the follow-up inspection is carried out every 12 months thereafter. 

3, General for sub-center processing, background applications do not choose six products, or will be returned to sub-center processing, time delay. 

4. After acceptance, first submit the sub-center stamping materials (including the model picture comparison table), and the engineer will issue it to the laboratory after review; send the model picture comparison table and difference description to the laboratory toy department, and they will determine the sample delivery requirements. (The testing institute must look at the pictures before deciding on the sample requirements)


Information to be submitted by CCC
(1) Factory inspection survey form
(2) One copy of the applicant’s business registration certificate and organization code certificate (for the first time)
(3) One copy of the manufacturer’s industrial and commercial registration certificate and organization code certificate (when applying for the first time)
(4) One copy of the manufacturer’s industrial and commercial registration certificate and organization code certificate (when applying for the first time)
(5) Formal application
(6) Compulsory certification compliance statement
(7) Product description of plastic toy products (or other toy product descriptions)
(8) Product quality management documents or documents that meet the requirements of product quality assurance capabilities;
(9) All product model pictures (all pictures are organized into model picture comparison table)
(10) ODM and OEM companies should provide an ODM or OEM processing agreement stamped by both companies, and a comparison table of the product models of both parties.
