According to the National Certification and Accreditation Administration Announcement No. 20 of 2020, "The Announcement of the CNCA on Clarifying the Compulsory Product Certification Requirements for 5G Mobile User Terminals", 5G mobile user terminals belong to the scope of mandatory product certification. The relevant requirements for the implementation of mandatory product certification implementation standards for 5G mobile user terminals are now clarified as follows:

1. Since the announcement of the CNCA, when applying for compulsory product certification for 5G mobile user terminals, the certification standard shall be added YD/T2583.18-2019 "Electromagnetic Compatibility Requirements and Measurement Methods for Cellular Mobile Communication Equipment" Part 18: 5G user equipment and auxiliary equipment (hereinafter referred to as YD/T2583.18), the certification certificate can be issued after passing the test.

2. For 5G mobile user terminals that have obtained compulsory product certification but the certification standard does not include YD/T2583.18, the holder of the certification certificate shall submit a supplementary test application based on YD/T2583.18 as soon as possible. After the test is qualified, the certificate will be issued The corresponding standard certification. The certificate retest conversion work should be completed before June 30, 2021. CQC will cancel the certificate if the certificate conversion is not completed on the specified date.

3. For certified products that have been shipped out of the factory, put on the market and are no longer produced before the announcement of the CNCA, no certificate conversion is required.
