note! Do not only mark 110V for the rated voltage of products applying for Japanese PSE certification!

Case question

Is it appropriate for the rated voltage of the product applying for the Japanese PSE certification to only be marked as 110V?

case study

As we all know, the single-phase voltage of the Japanese power grid is 100V~, the frequency of East Japan is 50Hz, and the frequency of West Japan including Nagoya, Kyoto and Osaka is 60Hz.

If the rated voltage of the product only identifies 110V, excluding 100V, the acceptance of test reports and certificates in Japan will be discounted. In order to avoid trouble, the product should be marked with a rated voltage of 100V, or the rated voltage range includes 100V.
