According to the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China", "Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Checks", "Guangdong Province Product Quality Supervision Regulations" and other relevant regulations, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration carried out Guangdong Province's transformer and electrical equipment product quality supervision and spot checks. The relevant situation is announced as follows:
1. Quality supervision and spot check of transformer products
This time, a total of 35 transformer products produced by 20 companies have been inspected and randomized, involving 3 cities in our province, including Foshan, Dongguan, and Zhongshan. After inspection, it was found that 2 products produced by 2 companies were unqualified. The unqualified items mainly include: "marks and other information" "load output voltage and output current".
(1) Marks and other information: 1 product was found to be unqualified in this spot check. This project mainly assesses whether the product can be correctly identified. The unqualified item may easily lead to misuse of the transformer and affect the performance of electrical products and the safety of users.
(2) Load output voltage and output current: 1 product was found to be unqualified in this spot check. This project mainly assesses the deviation between actual load output and rated output. Too much deviation means that the product cannot reach its expected electrical performance. If it is still used according to the nominal value, it will affect the reliability and safety of the whole product. The temperature rise of the transformer may increase during use, exceeding the insulation material level. The temperature limit is high, leading to risks such as high temperature and fire.
2. Quality supervision and spot check of electrical equipment products
This time, a total of 300 electrical equipment products produced by 155 companies have been inspected and randomized, involving 11 cities in our province, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Shantou, Foshan, Huizhou, Dongguan, Zhongshan, Jiangmen, Chaozhou, and Jieyang. 10 provinces (municipalities) including Fujian, Jiangxi, Shandong, Zhejiang, Hunan, Henan, Jiangsu, Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. After inspection, 60 products produced by 41 companies were found to be unqualified. The unqualified items mainly include: "mark", "dimension inspection", "protection against electric shock", "insulation resistance and electric strength", "temperature rise", "bending test", "heat resistance", "creepage distance, electrical clearance and distance through sealant" "The resistance of the insulating material to abnormal heat, flame resistance and tracking resistance."
(1) Marking: 44 products were found to be unqualified in this spot check. The unqualified mark will cause users to be unable to use the product correctly, and there will be safety hazards during use.
(2) Dimensional inspection: 20 products were judged to be unqualified in this random inspection. Unqualified items may cause insertion obstacles, and serious electric shock hazards may occur.
(3) Protection against electric shock: 7 products were found to be unqualified in this spot check. This item is unqualified and may cause electric shock hazards to users during use.
(4) Insulation resistance and electric strength: 1 product was found to be unqualified in this spot check. This item is unqualified and may cause electric shock hazards to users during use.
(5) Temperature rise: 4 products were found to be unqualified in this spot check. The project is unqualified, and risks such as heat generation and fire may occur during use.
(6) Bend test: 2 products were determined to be unqualified in this spot check. This item is unqualified, and the product cables may be exposed, causing electric shock hazards to users.
(7) Heat resistance: 22 products were found to be unqualified in this spot check. This item is unqualified, and the product may generate heat during use, resulting in material deformation and exposed live parts, which may cause electric shock risks to users.
(8) Creepage distance, electrical clearance and distance through sealant: 1 product was determined to be unqualified in this spot check. This item is unqualified, and it is prone to the danger of product short circuit and electric shock when used.
(9) Abnormal heat resistance, flame resistance and electric tracking resistance of insulating materials: 5 products were found to be unqualified in this spot check. The project is unqualified, and the product is prone to risks such as heat generation and fire.
For producers and sellers of unqualified products found in this spot check, the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration will instruct relevant prefectural and municipal market supervision administrations to comply with the provisions of the “Product Quality Law of the People’s Republic of China”, “Interim Measures for the Administration of Product Quality Supervision and Spot Checks” and The relevant provisions of the State Administration of Market Supervision and the Guangdong Provincial Market Supervision Administration on supervision and spot checks shall be followed up. One is to order producers to stop production and sales of the same overall product under supervision, to conduct a comprehensive clean-up of products in inventory, to make corrections to products that have been sold within a time limit, and to proactively announce relevant information; the second is to notify sellers to stop selling products of the same model; third, after rectification For products that are to be re-marketed, the product packaging must be replaced or a product conformity commitment label must be made; fourth, the market supervision department implements regular follow-up and spot checks on the products that are promised to be rectified and qualified; fifth is the supervision and spot check of unqualified products and their producers and sellers Enter the quality supervision credit file and implement credit classification supervision.
