PSE authentication requirements for wires and plugs

PSE certification is a Japanese mandatory security certification to prove that electronic appliances have been tested through the safety standards of the Japanese electrical and raw material safety Act (DENAN Law) or international IEC standards. Japan's DENTORL law (electrical installations and material control law) stipulates that 498 products must enter the Japanese market through PSE safety certification. Among them, the 165 class a products should get the diamond PSE logo, and the 333 B products should get the circular PSE logo.

I believe that the frequency of wires and plugs used in life and work will be very high, and many electrical products will be equipped. Therefore, we want to talk to you about the PSE certification of wires and plugs that are closely related to our life.

Wire and plug products belong to category a products, and the diamond PSE logo is required to be sold in the Japanese market.

PSE authentication basic process:

1. application for submission

2. product inspection

3. Factory review

Application for certification and submission of information:

1. PSE certification application

2. factory questionnaire

3. factory detection equipment detailed list

4. effective calibration certificates for each test equipment

5. product form differentiation table

6. product structure data table



Sample test:



A. test standard:

1) PVC wires: Description ofthe technical requirements by the METI OrdinanceAppendix 1 Section 1, (1), (6) and (9).

2) the plug (Attachment plugs) test standard: Description of the technical requirements by the METIOrdinance Appendix 4 Section 1, 10 5



B. delivery requirements:

1) wires: each unit sends a sample of any wire 30m.

2) plug: 11 plug with any PSE certified wire plug (at least 1m).



C. inspection sample printing request:

1) wire: the name of the manufacturer's company or the trademark + <PS>E diamond sign + the name of the registered Inspection Agency (such as JET) + the name of the annual producer (Japanese importer name) + specific line type

2) plug: Diamond PSE sign + registered inspection organization name (such as JET) + Japanese importer name + rated voltage and current value + waterproofing type (if waterproof type, should be written as rain proof or anti soaking type)

Note: no waterproof type, there is no need to write waterproof type
