General Administration of Market Regulation on Optimization
Announcement of the compulsory product certification catalog
In order to further deepen the reform of the compulsory product certification system, the General Administration of Market Supervision (CAC), based on the adjustment of previous compulsory product certification catalogs, on the basis of not changing the scope of compulsory product certification implementation, merged and classified some product categories optimization. The optimized compulsory product certification catalogue totals 17 categories and 103 products, which are now announced.
In order to facilitate the relevant parties to accurately define the scope of the compulsory product certification catalog, the General Administration of Market Supervision (CAC) revised the "Compulsory Product Certification Catalog Description and Definition Form" (see annex) and published it together. The Announcement of the CNCA on Issuing the Description and Definition Form of the Catalogue of Compulsory Product Certification (the CNCA Announcement No. 45 of 2014) is also abolished.
