The difference between "with label" and "without label"

1  CNAS logo on the certificate:

1. Demonstrate that it has the technical ability to carry out certification, testing or calibration services in accordance with the corresponding accreditation criteria;

2. Obtain the recognition of the national and regional accreditation bodies of the parties that have signed the mutual recognition agreement;

3. Have the opportunity to participate in bilateral and multilateral cooperation and exchanges recognized by international conformity assessment bodies;

4. The CNAS accreditation mark can be used within the scope of accreditation;

5. Be included in the list of approved institutions.

2  There is no CNAS logo on the certificate:

1. Institutional certification items have not been accredited by CNAS, or the certified industry sub-categories have not been accredited by CNAS, the issued certificate cannot carry the CNAS mark;

2. CNAS cannot issue certificates bearing the CNAS logo without the approval of the project.

For example, common commodity after-sales service certification, intellectual property management system certification (standard implementation), etc., CNAS has not yet recognized standards, and certification bodies that have been approved for certification can normally issue certificates. The certificates are also valid, but the CNAS logo is not allowed.

Three common cases of labeling:

Certificate with CNAS logo and IAF logo. It shows that the subcategories certified in this certificate are mutually recognized by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and have been recognized by CNAS.

Certificates with CNAS logo and without IAF logo. It means that the subcategories certified in this certificate are not mutually recognized by the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), but they are recognized by CNAS.

A certificate with only the certification body logo or no logo indicates that the certification sub-categories issued by this certificate are recognized in the domestic certification field and cannot be mutually recognized in the international certification field.
