Under the background that the country vigorously advocates the establishment of a new development pattern with the domestic cycle as the main body and the domestic and international double cycles mutually promoting each other, the China Quality Certification Center (CQC)vigorously develops the research and development of international certification qualifications and actively serves Chinese foreign trade companies to "go global" "Promote the stability of foreign trade. After the United Kingdom leaves the European Unon, it will gradually use the UKCA mark to replace the CE mark. The International Cooperation Department quickly organized technical experts to conduct research and comparisons on the UKCA mark and the CE mark regulations and standards to help companies transition smoothly.

UKCA is short for UK Conformity Assessed. According to the guidance document issued by the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy of the United Kingdom on September 1, 2020, starting from January 1, 2021, the UKCA mark has become a new British conformity assessment mark (applicable to Great Britain, namely England, Wales and Scotland). ). Before January 1, 2023, under the premise that the UK and EU regulations are still consistent, products can still use the CE mark to enter the UK market. From January 1, 2023, products entering the UK market will be compulsory to use the UKCA certification mark.

The UKCA mark applies to most of the commodities covered by the CE mark. The technical requirements, conformity assessment process, standards, and the conditions under which the product must meet the self-declaration of conformity are basically consistent with the CE mark certification.

On September 1, 2021, CQC has officially launched the UKCA mark certification business to help companies enter the UK market smoothly.
