1. Introduction to certification

The Gulf Standardization Organization GSO issued the Gulf Technical Regulations for Children’s Toys and the Gulf Technical Regulations on Low-Voltage Electrical Equipment and Appliances in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Products within the scope of the above regulations must meet the requirements of relevant technical regulations and affix the Gulf compliance mark GC-Mark before they can be sold in the GSO member countries (UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Yemen). Some controlled products must be certified by a third-party certification body authorized by GSO and registered with GSO before they can be affixed with the GC mark.

The plugs, sockets, converters, and electrical components used in people's daily life (Customs No. 85444220 and 85366910) are all within the scope of GCC compulsory certification. You must obtain the GCC certification issued by the designated certification body before you can enter the GSO member. Domestic market sales.
