The State Administration of Market Regulation on some electronic and electrical products
No longer implement compulsory product certification management notice

In accordance with the guideline of the Opinions of The General Office of the State Council on Deepening the Reform of the Regulatory System for the Electronic and Electrical Industries (State Administration for Market Regulation No. 31, 2022), the State Administration for Market Regulation adjusted the catalogue of compulsory product certification (hereinafter referred to as CCC certification) in accordance with the principle of necessity and minimization. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:

1. CCC certification is no longer applied to 9 kinds of electronic and electrical products with low safety risk and mature technology (see Annex).

Second, "compulsory product certification implementation rules audio and video equipment" (CNCA-C08-01:2014) and "compulsory product certification implementation rules Telecom terminal equipment" (CNCA-C16-01:2014) scope of application to delete relevant products; Abolish the "mandatory product certification implementation rules for anti-theft alarm products" (CNCA-C19-01:2014).

Three, the designated certification bodies and laboratories involved in the designated business scope of the relevant products to be cancelled.

Four, the designated certification bodies and laboratories should stop the relevant product CCC certification and corresponding testing activities, and cancel the issued CCC certification in accordance with the provisions.

This is hereby announced.
