NO.1 Is the CCC mark necessary for the components in the Catalog used in the whole machine?
A: If the whole system is a product in the Catalog, the components in the Catalog used in the whole system do not need to apply for CCC certification separately. However, these components must be inspected with the whole system. In order to shorten the certification cycle, reduce the pressure of the whole machine enterprises and importers, the country encourages the separate certification of parts within the catalogue;
If the whole machine is not included in the Catalog, the parts used in it are not required to apply for certification and testing. However, parts in the Catalogue that are imported and sold separately must be certified.
NO.2 mandatory product certification implementation rules with the whole machine test parts, can recognize the voluntary certification results?
Answer: For mandatory product certification implementation rules required with the whole machine test parts, meet the following conditions of voluntary product certification results, can be recognized as mandatory product certification, exempt from separate testing.
1. Approved by the CNCA to establish, and by the Chinese certification body National Accreditation Committee (CNAB) accredited certification body according to the same certification mode certification issued by the whole machine voluntary product certification certificate.
2. The test results of the certification are based on the test report issued by the testing institutions designated by the CNCA to undertake the mandatory product certification task.
3. The testing standards of the corresponding parts certification must be consistent with the corresponding standards in the implementation rules of mandatory product certification.
The certification authority shall submit the relevant qualification materials, license issuing scope and certification rules to the CNCA for examination and approval.
NO.3. Can the key components listed in the certification implementation rules apply for certification separately? What are the relevant supporting policies?
A: There are two kinds of safety critical parts listed in the certification implementation rules: One is a part in the mandatory product certification catalog. In this case, the parts are encouraged to apply for CCC certification separately. The test of the parts can be exempted when the whole machine is applied for, but the parts must be separately certified when they are imported and sold separately.
The other situation is not a mandatory product certification catalog of parts, encourage to obtain CNCA authorized certification bodies of voluntary product certification, the same machine application can be exempted from the parts of the test. The parts are certified separately, which can not only shorten the certification cycle, but also reduce the certification cost of the whole machine.
